  My tank was just half empty but I needed a drink and I had a 2 hour drive ahead of me so I started pumping gas and went into the gas station. When I walked out with my drink I saw the gas was spilling everywhere. I tried to undo the lock on the handle but it was stuck. I ran into the gas station and told the clerk. He came out and yanked the lock out to make it stop, but he refused to refund me for the spillage because he claims I had it 'locked'. I told him that it's supposed to pop when my tank is full and it was a faulty handle, but he claimed he was able to yank it out so it was my fault. During my 15 years of driving experience, I never had to use brute force to pull the lock out. My tank was only 6 gallons empty at the time and I ended up paying $55 dollars for it.
